Stalking and harassment

Stalking is illegal and can include being followed or constantly harassed by another person; for example, being sent unwanted emails.

Contact the police by calling if you’re being stalked - you have a right to feel safe in your home and workplace.

Call 999 if you or someone else is in immediate danger. Contact your local police on 101 if it's not an emergency.

Stalking is a pattern of repeated, unwanted behaviour that causes you to feel distressed or scarred. Perpetrators can be men or women and it can have a huge emotional impact on the victim resulting in feelings of anxiety, depression, and even post-traumatic stress disorder.
