PR Date: Friday, 23 July 2021 - 2:00pm

This summer North Herts is hosting a wide range of events, so if your travel plans have been disrupted, enjoy a daytrip out in your local area, or treat friends and family to live music, theatre, or a day at one of the region’s stunning lidos!

Cllr Sam Collins, North Herts District Council’s Executive Member for Enterprise, the Arts and Transport said: “With many holiday destinations not really an option for many people as the pandemic continues, why not stay home this summer and enjoy what’s on offer in North Herts! You could catch a show at the Hitchin Festival, head to our very own beach in Hitchin, or for the more energetic there’s also a fun run to enjoy. The last year has been difficult for everyone, but let’s plan ahead, go out, support local businesses and enjoy our wonderful area safely.”
